MANCHESTER (October 6, 2023) – At an October 4, 2023 meeting of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) Council of States, iCare Health Network President and CEO Chris Wright was elected Vice Chair of the Board of Governors.
The meeting and elections took place at the annual AHCA-NCAL Convention and Expo in Denver, CO and the full, elected slate of the Board was announced at the closing ceremonies.
Among other board service, Chris has served as President of the Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities (CAHCF) Board of Directors, the Secretary-Treasurer and Board Member at Large of the AHCA Board of Governors and a Board Member of HealthCap.
I am humbled and honored to continue my service with the American Health Care Association and help steward and advocate for our industry during challenging times. We are facing significant challenges on several fronts but we continue to provide a vital and important service to hundreds of thousands of residents who rely on our care and support day in and day out. Front line staff of all types, clinicians and leaders continue to serve our residents with honor and deserve our support and a sustainable direction forward. - Chris Wright
